GUE-San Diego is an official affiliate of Global Underwater Explorers (GUE).  The president of GUE-San Diego is Marc Hall, a GUE instructor. GUE-San Diego was organized to promote and sustain GUE style diving in San Diego.

Membership in GUE-San Diego is open to any person who is at least an electronic member of GUE and holds a GUE certification card. Membership privileges include special GUE-San Diego only events, an annual GUE-San Diego t-shirt and 10% off gas fills and select merchandise at San Diego Divers.
